My story
Hello, my name is Stella. My foster mom sometimes calls me Queen Stella. I really like that and do enjoy being queen of the castle. I am a stunning beautiful orange and white, almost 2 yr. old 28-pound spayed Brittany girl. When my ears perk up my foster mom says I look regal.  I am turning two years old on September 15th. I hope to have a big birthday party and be spoiled so rotten your teeth will hurt. I am UTD on Vaccines, HW neg and on HW/Flea prevention.  Housebroken, crate trained, and I have a huge dowry of toys, beds, etc.  (Foster Mom says I need a U-Haul) I need a 6-foot fenced yard to run around and hunt birds in. You see, I was originally trained as a champion upland bird dog. On my first birthday I decided I wanted to be a home companion instead, but I still sometimes have the desire to hunt birds. After that I was adopted by a senior citizen who loved me so much. He got me micro-chipped, spayed, took me to doggie daycare, dog parks, and got a great vet for me. He had to give me up because I have a bad tendency to swallow rocks I find in the yard. I once had to have surgery to remove one that I couldnt digest, so I will need a yard that is rock free.  This is a must for you and me.  I would like tummy rubs, cuddling with you while we watch tv and fight you for my side of the bed.  I would love to have a kiddie pool, cookies, lots of toys and to have all the attention I can get.  I need a family with energy, experience, and gentle guidance to spoil me rotten and they will be greatly rewarded with my sweetness and love.  Yep if you want a beautiful Queen like me, I am your girl. Foster Mom:  I will be happy to talk to you more about this sweet, loving and active ladybug.  She is good with cats but needs to be introduced slowly.  Plays with other dogs.  Settles down quickly and sleeps through the night.  She may be cautious at first, but once she knows everyone is friendly, she will be the love of your life.  She has been such a delight to foster again and was one of our pups that we delivered, trained and fostered until she was a year old.  I want the best for her and to be a part of your family, not just a pet.  She needs another pup in the house to play and run her energy off. Stella Needs:  Physical Fence, another dog to play with and no rocks in the yard.  To be loved and to be part of the family.  Spoiled rotten and loved to pieces. Oh yes and cookies. The adoption fee to adopt Stella in N Central AR  is $375 to offset her vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets in need. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.
