Daenerys Domestic Longhair Young Female for sale in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Daenerys's story
I think I have lived all nine of my lives in my one year of life. As a young girl, I found myself in a position no young cat or dog should be in. Stray is no place for anyone. It is lonely, it is scary and it is hard, so hard. And for me, it was life threatening, not just for me but for my three young babies. Just a baby myself, trying to raise three kittens was taking its toll on me. Sometimes when you think things are their worst, if you just look a little bit for the silver lining, you can see it glimmering. And I did. Tired, hungry and sick, my little family and I were taken to the shelter as strays. We all had intestinal parasites, upper respiratory problems and Coccidia so we were in need of a lot of TLC, and we got it! Bella found a special foster home for me and my babies to recover in and it has been wonderful. Bella was our silver lining and things just kept getting better for us.
Recovery was not too bad. After a few days of rest and restoration, a new kitten came to me in need. He had been orphaned and needed a mother's love. How could I say no to saving him when someone said yes to saving me? My little family of four became a family of five and we were given names, which meant we were safe and things were going to be okay. I was named Daenerys, after the mother of dragons from Game of Thrones and my babies were named after the dragons. We may not have breathed fire but we were sure mighty!
Everyone pulled through and in no time at all, my babies were all adopted out to loving families. I have remained in my foster home because I am not as social as my kittens were. I made sure their life experiences were full of trust and promise, the things that were void of my youth. They are thriving and that is what every mother wants for her babies. I am not feral or aggressive by any means, I am just very shy and timid. I am scared of new things and like to hide in the closest when I am fearful. I have dogs in my foster home and even though they frighten me, I do okay. I would prefer to not have dogs in my new home but cats??? CATS ARE MY JAM! I love to eat with my foster cat siblings and cuddle with them. That feeling of security makes my motor run.
Because of my fears, I don't go to the adoption events and will need to be adopted through meet and greets. Loud noises and too much commotion are overwhelming for me. A quiet home would probably be best for me, one with a lap to keep warm. So much change has happened in my one short year of life that I need a little understanding and a lotta love. Forever will find its way to me; it is just going to have to be someone very special that will accept a shy little gal into their heart and home.
